Our second morning out at Cloubreak, we go out with Te, our driver, since it's Sunday today,
and Inia's at Church, Irene from Poland/Germany and Isa from Brazil, who are both currently
studying in Australia, and a French/Aussie family.
The waves a pretty small so I decide I might as well join everyone for a surf. I get 3 waves, the last one lands me on the reef, which thankfully isn't too sharp. I'm happy - I've surfed Cloudbreak! The water is really clear and the reef provides plenty of distraction as we wait for the sets.
We then head over to check out Swmimming Pools but there no waves at all, so we make stop at the Namotu beach bar for a beer. The sand is so bright that we huddle around the bar for shade and chat to the bar tender. We learn a bit more about the two Islands. Since the breaks are now open to all it
seems less is being given back to the communities unfortunately and the price to come
out here from the main island of Vitu Levu may rise again to remedy this.
